As a kid, my favorite part of any event was the picture and video montage that was played near the end. I drew satisfaction from the way that the videos seemed to encapsulate the emotions and moments of the individual's life. I had always loved playing around with "IMovie" on my phone, and soon I started editing videos for my relatives' birthdays. In my freshman year of high school, I decided to actualize this passion and create Kattan Productions. While this would go on to be incredibly gratifying, it also proved to be a perilous journey. I mean, I was running a business alone at 14, with only my 6-year-old computer and cheap editing software to assist me. However, learning from the mishaps and mistakes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Four years later, the many hours of work and dedication I put into every single one of my commissions have given me the ability to evoke joy and light within my clients. After almost four years of running Kattan Productions, I can effectively say that eight-year-old me would be proud!
